An accomplished leader with significant experience in the capital equipment and private equity sectors, Barry Ruffalo served as the former CEO of Astec Corporation, where he was responsible for leading the company through a period of transformation. His focus on simplification, growth, and innovation contributed to the company’s expanded product portfolio and market presence. Barry Ruffalo's leadership during global challenges, such as the pandemic and supply chain disruptions, helped maintain Astec's position in the industry.
In 2023, Mr. Ruffalo transitioned to new ventures, assuming the role of chairman at Agile Screening, where he continues to apply his expertise in market and operational strategy to support the company’s growth. He also co-founded Twisted Oak Capital, an investment platform focused on middle-market companies. At Twisted Oak, he leads capital raising and works with private equity firms to identify growth opportunities and optimize operations.
Outside of work, Barry Ruffalo supports charitable efforts through his wife’s involvement with Global Partners in Hope, an organization focused on providing clean water and health care in underserved areas of West Africa. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, and fishing.
